Detailed Description
These unique bricks were rescued from a retired smoke stack on the grounds of the School Sisters of Notre Dame in South St. Louis, near the Mississippi River. The bricks were manufactured in Mexico Missouri in 1909, using clay from the banks of the Mississippi. Some still show bits of soot, attesting to their many years of service. Each brick is a true piece of St. Louis history, perfect to display on your patio or bookshelf.
