This new book, by local business owner and graphic designer Alex Paradowski, is a beautiful pictorial covering one year in Forest Park. Paradowski began with an idea to take one picture of Forest Park each day for an entire year, and turned it into a gorgeous and moving journey through the seasons in one of St. Louis' most beloved landmarks. Some photographs document monuments in the park, such as the statue of St. Louis; others capture the details of nature or architecture; and still others showcase the people who frequent the park. Each photo is captioned with a short explanation of its content and origin. This beautiful book is a moving journey for anyone proud of their St. Louis heritage.
